Villanova Basketball Recruiting: Dylan Painter "enjoyed" Villanova visit

Tom Reifsnyder | City of Basketball Love

Dylan Painter, a 2016 big man recruit, completed his official visit to Villanova on Wednesday and told SNY.tv that the visit, "was pretty good."

The 6'10" recruit from Hershey added, "It was very informative, I learned a lot about the program and I had a good time with the players and the staff."

Painter, who is being recruited by Baker Dunleavy and grew up as a Villanova fan, impressed many during the past spring/summer with Team Final on the EYBL circuit. That performance earned Painter a scholarship offer from Jay Wright earlier this month; his 30th and final college offer.

During his junior year at Hershey, he averaged 17.8 points and 11.1 rebounds per game as a junior at Hershey. He also added 3.6 blocks and 1.7 assists.

He had previously visited Iowa and Xavier and will next visit Penn State.

Met some great people at Villanova. Really enjoyed it!
