Villanova has extended an offer to Hershey (Pa.) power forward Dylan Painter, per CoBL's Josh Verlin. The 6'10" Painter had a monster spring and summer with Team Final on the EYBL circuit, pulling in more than 25 offers during the past three months.

Painter had previously unofficially visited Villanova in May, but Villanova continued to scout him throughout the summer before finally pulling the trigger on an offer Monday afternoon. The rugged 6'10" forward is has a nice arsenal of moves in the low post, and can also step out an hit jumpers. Defensively, he displayed a knack for blocking shots all summer long during the AAU season.

Painter has officially visited both Xavier and Iowa already, but the Hawkeyes have pulled out of the running after receiving a commitment from 3-star forward Ryan Kriener.

More coming tonight when Painter cuts down his list - it would be a very big surprise if Villanova wasn't on it.
