College basketball season doesn't start foranother 58 days but after early NBA declarations, player transfers, and new coaching gigs, ESPN feels that they are in a position to put a solid No-Longer-Way-Too-Early Top 25 together for the 2015-16 college basketball season.

Jay Wright is losing two 1,500 point scorers in Darrun Hilliard and JayVaughn Pinkston, but the solid core of returning players and the impressive incoming freshman class have kept the Wildcats in the Top 10 in the eyes of Eamonn Brennan.

Out of conference opponents Virginia (#3) and Oklahoma (#8) are also ranked highly. Butler, coming in at #23 is the only other Big East member in this poll.
