FCS college football rankings, week 5: Villanova drops out of Top 10, Jacksonville State remains #1

John Reed-USA TODAY Sports

The newest polls are out and the Villanova Wildcats (2-2), who lost a mid-week contest to unranked Penn squad, at home, have dropped nine spots to #14 in the newest STATS FCS Top 25.

Jacksonville State remains the top team in the country with their victory over Tennessee-Martin.

The CAA was well-represented yet again, with James Madison moving up to #6 for the first time this season. Richmond (#19), New Hampshire (#20) and William & Mary (#25) also make appearances.
