Local LB/DE prospect Andre Mintze has named Villanova in his top 4 schools following an official visit to the Main Line this weekend. The Wildcats made it along with Massachusetts, Vanderbilt and Delaware. Mintze has an official visit to UMass lined up for this weekend.
+ Vanderbilt so it's a top 4! #AnchorDown ⚓️

Mintze plies his trade for Imhotep Charter (Pa.) and also reports offers from Pittsburgh, UCF, Duke and UConn along with some FCS schools. He was also just offered by Vanderbilt today, which will bring back memories of running back Aaron Forbes spurning the Commodores in favor of the Wildcats last year.
Mintze would add a great pass-rushing dynamic to Villanova's defense, which is predicated on a ton of zone blitzing. The 6'3" 225 lb. prospect excels rushing off the edge in high school and depending on how he fills out in college could play either defensive end or outside linebacker if he chooses the Wildcats.
