The recruiting train is still rolling strong for Villanova, who picked up a commitment from Parkland High School (Allentown, Pa.) OL Noel Brouse on Monday night. Brouse is a 3-star recruit and former Syracuse commitment who opted to re-open his recruitment in mid-December after Scott Schafer was fired.

The 6'6" 255 lb. Brouse also had offers from UMass, Old Dominion, Florida Atlantic, Buffalo, Stony Brook, New Hampshire, Monmouth, William & Mary, Lafayette, Lehigh, Colfate, Dartmouth, Yale and Bucknell. In a brief note to VU Hoops, Brouse identified the great academics, coaching staff and proximity to his home as the key factors in his decision.
While he was widely recruited as a defensive linemen, Noel Brouse is now the fifth offensive line commitment (and highest rated) in the Wildcats' class. It's a monster haul for Talley and Ferrante (who coaches the offensive line) as they look to build the foundation of their offense for years to come.
Congrats Noel, and welcome to 'Nova Nation!
