Just five days ago, 3-star offensive lineman Noel Brouse committed to Villanova. Now, he has flipped to Connecticut in an apparent change of heart. Brouse announced the decision on Twitter.

The former Syracuse commitment was part of a 5-man haul on the offensive line for the Wildcats, so from a depth perspective this isn't the end of the world for the Wildcats. It was one of their top-rated recruits, however, and losing good talent always stings.
We see it once ever couple years, but the call of the FBS is real. It's always dicey when a committed player gets a late offer from an FBS power. UConn is just a couple of seasons removed from a BCS game as well and though they've struggled recently, they have also proved success is possible out of the AAC.
Still, Villanova's work putting together a strong class on the offensive line means they'll be just fine.
Best of luck to Noel Brouse in his career!
