The top 4 contenders to Villanova's crown all face off tonight - let's watch the carnage!

Frank Victores-USA TODAY Sports

We won't get another taste of Villanova Basketball until Sunday afternoon, but we will get to watch the rest of the top-half of the Big East go head-to-head tonight. Xavier, Providence, Georgetown and Creighton all sit just one game back of Villanova in the conference standings, so

The Undercard

After being picked 9th in the preseason poll, the Bluejays have been the surprise of the conference season. They already picked off Georgetown 79-66 at CenturyLink in early January and at this point in the season if either is going to make the NCAA Tournament, they'll need this game to boost their resume. Despite home court advantage, I'm still going with the 'Let It Fly' gang as the Hoyas have struggled to defend the perimeter all year.

They tip at 6:30pm ET on FS1.

The Main Event

Definitely the better teams, and definitely the two teams that have the most realistic shot of continued success both in the conference and in March. This will be the first meeting between the two this season (2/17 is the return trip to Cintas), and they employ very different styles. The Friars rely on the legitimately terrifying duo of Kris Dunn and Ben Bentil, while Chris Mack will ride a deeper bench and look to run and trap other teams out of the building. Both teams are coming off tough games, so let's give the edge to the Friars who will have the full wrath of The Dunk behind them.

They tip directly after Georgetown and Creighton finish on FS1 (planned tip at 8:30pm ET)
