Jay Wright Suit Watch: Creighton

Steven Branscombe-USA TODAY Sports

The Villanova Wildcats took their farthest conference road trip this weekend as they traveled to Omaha to take on the Creighton Bluejays.

Following a commanding 31-point victory over previously undefeated (and sixth-ranked) Xavier on Thursday, the 1,088-mile flight, and the late start to the game, it was possible that the 'Cats may have come out flat. They didn't and neither did Jay Wright's suit.

As 'Nova dismantled the Bluejays 85-71, Jay Wright's style was consistent and appropriate for a trip to Nebraska.

Wright walked the sidelines of the CenturyLink Center in a two-piece black suit which was paired with a simple white shirt and a geometric tie which appears to be based on... navy.

A white pocket square finished the look.

(2.75/5 Esquires) That tie looks navy to us and brings the overall look... down. Big time. Wright's look will probably still be the best style that Nebraska sees this year.
