Villanova and St. John's don't meet until tomorrow (which gives Villanova one less day to prepare than Creighton. So unfair, right Kevin Willard?), but every other Big East team is in action today, and everything is on TV. Let's hang out and watch!
Butler vs. Marquette - 12pm ET on Fox Sports 1
Not the sexiest of games on paper, but Butler has been on a terrible slide and with a record of 14-6 (3-5 in the Big East) they're trending more towards the NCAA Tournament Bubble than the lock they were a month ago. Marquette isn't technically dead yet either, but their weak NCSOS means they will need to pick up some marquee wins in conference. This is an opportunity for them.
Xavier vs. DePaul - 2pm ET on CBS Sports Network
It's starting to feel like one of Villanova or Xavier is going to get 1-seed come tournament time, but not both. This should be a walk in the park for the Muskies. We are all Blue Demons today
Seton Hall vs. Creighton - 8pm ET on Fox Sports Network Regional
Another sneaky good game - you'll have to check your local listings to see where this game is airing but my guess is that most of you should be able to find it. Seton Hall is probably bubble-in at this point, but needs to keep winning to solidify their status. The Bluejays are probably bubble-out thanks to their late game meltdown against the Hoyas on Tuesday. They need to win at home.
Providence vs. Georgetown - 8pm ET on Fox Sports 1
Clearly the game of the day.Georgetown needs this game badly after a comedy of errors against inferior competition earlier this season. Providence looked great in a win against Villanova and then got exposed against Xavier at home on short rest. The Friars are two games off the pace in the conference and will look to Kris Dunn and Ben Bentil to get them back on track.
