Villanova Basketball makes its season debut tonight against Lafayette

The wait is over, college basketball is back!

We've been waiting an entire off-season to say this... HAPPY GAME DAY NOVA NATION!  We can only assume that Chris has been incapacitated by sheer joy because the season is kicking off today, so I'm stepping in with your Friday round-up.

The main story today is, duh, Villanova basketball is back!  Instead of questions regarding if the team will make the second weekend, all the questions are now focused on can this team win a second straight championship.  All of that starts tonight against Lafayette, but there's a few good articles about the future as well.  From glimpsing ahead to a Purdue match-up in just the second game of the season, to a closer look at the two newest Wildcats, to a season preview for Philadelphia college hoops, we've got it all today.  But again, let's not lose site of what's important...
