The Associated Press has released their Men’s Basketball Top 25 Poll for the sixth week of the 2016-17 season and the Villanova Wildcats remain at the top spot.

Jay Wright’s squad collected 56 of 65 first place votes as the Wildcats (10-0) knocked off a Big 5 rival, LaSalle, and previously-undefeated Notre Dame on a neutral court in Newark in the Never Forget Tribute last week.

UCLA, Kansas, Baylor, and Duke round out the top 5 (and the following five remain unchanged as well).

The BIG EAST was also represented by Creighton at #10, Xavier at #17, and Butler at #18.

Florida and Iowa State dropped out of the Top 25 as Florida State and Southern California joined the rankings.

Villanova next returns to the court on Tuesday with a Big 5 matchup against Temple at The Pavilion.
