The AP Poll rests for no one. College Basketball’s newest media poll that was released on Monday amid Boxing Day festivities has the Villanova Wildcats atop the poll for the fourth consecutive week.

Jay Wright’s squad collected 56 of 65 first place votes as the Wildcats (12-0) defeated American by 42 in a one-game week as the student athletes prepared for semester exams.

UCLA, Kansas, Baylor, and Duke round out the top 5.

The BIG EAST was also represented by Creighton at #10, Butler at #13, and Xavier at #17.

Villanova next returns to the court on Wednesday to start BIG EAST Conference action as they host DePaul.
