Huuuuuuuuuump Daaaaaaay! Conference action is back tonight (it has already started in other leagues), and CBS' Matt Norlander is here to tell you that the top-end of the Big East is just as good - if not better! - than any conference in the country.

In the post-ESPN-backed world of the Big East I don't usually get too upset when the conference doesn't get its due. That's just how it is. But all the same it's nice to see one of the sport's premier writers going to bat for us.

We had it all figured out before the season started. It's the Year of the Freshman. Villanova will have a hangover. Duke will be trouble-free. As conference play starts, it's time to re-evaluate.
