Jay Wright is known for having an exquisite look and style; on Wednesday’s BIG EAST opener he looked great, again. However, it doesn’t take an astute student of #SuitWatch to remember the last time he was seen in the exact same outfit.
Three games ago Wright wore the exact same suit, shirt, and tie as he did in Newark for the huge non-conference matchup against Notre Dame. The only difference that eagle-eye #SuitWatchers can note is the lack of a tiebar that the Villanova head coach wore against the Fighting Irish.
Regardless, Wright and his Wildcats withstood a surprisingly close game against the Blue Devils in a double-breasted navy blue window pane suit. Underneath he wore a light blue shirt and a darker blue tie with geometric shapes. He finished off the look with a light blue pocket square.
VU Hoops #SuitWatch Rating
3.5/5 Esquires: A very solid look for the conference opener. But massive point deduction for the recency of the look.
