Villanova's Ryan Arcidiacono named a finalist for Senior Class Award

Villanova senior point guard Ryan Arcidiacono has been named one of the ten male basketball student-athletes selected as a finalist for the 2015-16 Senior CLASS Award® in collegiate basketball.

The award is for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School and focuses on the total student-athlete and encourages students to use their athletic platforms to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities.

Arcidiacono has started all but one game for Villanova in his storied career that has seen him tally over 1,400 career points, 472 assists, and 105 victories.

The finalists were chosen by national media from the list of 30 men’s candidates and 30 women’s candidates announced in January. Voting starts NOW and ends on March 21 (note: the CAPTCHA on the ballot is case-sensitive).

The Award recipients will be announced during the 2016 NCAA Men’s Final Four.
