Villanova locked up the 1-seed in the Big East Tournament with Xavier's loss at Seton Hall (SEE SETON HALL ISN'T ALL THAT BAD) and at least a share of the Regular Season Championship so this coming week is a nice break for the `Cats to take it easy.
NOPE.
With the loss to Xavier last Wednesday, many channels argue Villanova's 1-seed in the East Region is safe, however another loss in what SHOULD be an easy week will surely knock `Nova off its pedestal. They need to finish off the regular season strong, and a solid performance in the BET.
Did anyone catch the crazy overtime thriller between Butler and Georgetown? Still lots of mobility in 5th-8th place!
Let's look at the week ahead!

Games of the Day
Tuesday
Georgetown vs. Marquette
These two sit in a tie for 7th place, meaning the loser plays DePaul and winner plays St. John's. In all honesty, is there really a winner and loser here?
Wednesday
Creighton vs. Providence
These teams are separated by just a game in 4th and 5th place. With a Providence win, it should guarantee a third meeting between these schools just 8 days later. A Providence loss would put another pin in the Friars' bubble.
Saturday
Georgetown vs. Villanova
Just for the rivalry aspect. `Nova may have clinched outright by then, but ending the season with a W against the Hoyas would be icing on the cake.
