Madison Square Garden is a familiar venue for the Villanova Wildcats. But no matter how accustomed the 'Cats are to "The World's Most Famous Arena" each game is special. Jay Wright's attire exemplified that on Friday afternoon.
Nova's head coach had numerous reasons to get up for the game besides the grandeur of The Garden; Manhattan always requires a step up in style, it was the BIG EAST Tournament, and an opportunity to defeat rival Georgetown for the third time this season. Wright did not disappoint; this was a Business Trip.
As Wright commanded the hardwood sidelines in Villanova's 14-point victory over the Hoyas, the head coach went with a black and white monochromatic look. He donned a two piece deep charcoal suit featuring light grey pinstripes- a look that could place him in a Wall Street boardroom. Underneath, he wore a micro-patterned white and black geometric shirt that was undetectable on television and a black-based geometric tie.
He finished the look off with a pocket square that had hints of lavendar.

(4.5/5 Esquires) An overall exquisite monochromatic look for the midtown Manhattan matinee. A perfect display of sartorial excellence for another Villanova Business Trip.
