Happy Tuesday, 'Nova Nation! Really happy to see Kris Jenkins getting some love from CBS this morning - the junior has been on a tear over the last couple of weeks and his play rising late in the season is nothing new. Jon Rothstein, for as meme-ish as he can be, makes some great points about Jenkins.
He's always been a sniper and confident in his shot, but his high basketball IQ has allowed him to develop a well-rounded offensive attack and his improved play on the defensive end has rightfully earned him more minutes and a larger role on the team. While Josh Hart is going to get the headlines, it might be Jenkins that makes the difference for Villanova over the next couple of weeks.
And now, the "news."

A loss in the Big East Tournament could drop Villanova to the No. 2 seed line, though if the team got to the championship against Xavier, it’s possible both teams could end up with No. 1 seeds. However, the fans hoping to see their Wildcats again in South Philly know the best route would be five consecutive wins to earn a trip back home.

Listen I'm not even saying I would put Josh Hart on my All-American team, but to put Trevon Bluiett on a AA team ahead of Hart is downright silly.
