The Palestra played host to the annual Big 5 banquet on Monday night, and Villanova Wildcats guards Jalen Brunson and Adrianna Hahn were named the Freshmen of the Year.

Brunson averaged 9.6 ppg, 1.8 rpg and 2.5 apg this season for the Wildcats, but was especially impressive during Big 5 play where he averaged 17 ppg and 4 apg, including a career-high 25 points in the win at Temple, his father Rick Brunson's alma mater.

St. Joseph's coach Phil Martelli was named the Coach of the Year, while junior DeAndre Bembry was named the Player of the Year.
Ryan Arcidiacono and Josh Hart were named to the All-Big 5 1st Team, while Kris Jenkins was named to the 2nd Team. Temple's Quenton DeCosey as well St. Joseph's DeAndre Bembry and Isaiah Miles rounded out the 1st team.
