Your Villanova Wildcats have offered 2017 5-star small forward Kevin Knox, per MADE Hoops' Corey Evans. Jay Wright and staff watched the 6'8" Tampa Catholic (Fla.) prospect this past weekend during the Nike EYBL and have been rumored to be involved in his recruitment recently.
Blessed to receive an offer from Villanova University #Wildcats

Moreover, the 'Cats will have an in-home visit with Knox this week per 247's Andrew Slater, joining the blue-bloods and local favorites Florida State (Knox is a legacy) on the roster this week.

Knox is an elite talent. He's extremely athletic and can attack relentlessly off the bounce and knock down the outside shot as well. With his length and size it's hard not to get excited about him in a Villanova uniform given the offensive and defensive systems.
Knox told ESPN that 'Nova just got involved. "They’re a little bit late, but still, they’re a really good school. I’m really looking into them. I really like coach Jay Wright, his style and the way he plays. He likes those type of long, lanky guards that are able to get rebounds and dribble the ball -- that’s something I really like.
Let's see how the visit goes this week - if Knox likes the pitch and Villanova can convince him to take a visit to Philadelphia, they've got a chance. But they're a bit late to the game on this one, and Knox likely has dreams of a one-and-done scenario and is certainly being pitched as the focal point at all the other schools talking to him.
Stay tuned.
