Covatto is a 6'3" 310 pound defensive tackle who attends Cathedral Prep. He's been stacking up offers from both the FBS and FCS. Akron, Toledo, Kent State and the military academies have all offered, as have Richmond, Albany, Bryant and Duquesne.
Covatto would be a great fit for Villanova's 3-3-5 defense given that he has thrived playing as a nose guard for his high school team, landing him on the All-State team as a junior. Villanova may have a fight on their hands given all the schools chasing him, but they've already proven they can beat out the FBS with the commitment of QB Kyle McCloskey.
