Villanova offers 2017 defensive end Malik Fisher

The Big Apple native scored his first offer from the ‘Cats.

Malik Fisher, a rising senior from Xavier High School (N.Y.), has picked up an offer from the Villanova Wildcats, he announced on Twitter.

Fisher is a 6’3” 220 pound athlete who plays primarily as a defensive end in high school. He’s a rangy athlete but is currently a bit undersized to play the position at the college level. Given his solid frame, you’d expect him to fill out further and Fisher could end up playing as a hybrid pass-rushing DL/LB, similar to how Austin Calitro has been utilized for the ‘Cats.

Given that Villanova is his only offer thus far, this looks like a recruitment to keep an eye on.
