MJ Hampton, a rising senior from Brook Point High School (Stafford, V.A.), picked up an offer recently from the Villanova Wildcats. He has also received an offer from the CAA’s other Wildcats.
Blessed to say I have received my 7th scholarship offer from Villanova University pic.twitter.com/UTFtAk7JXR

Hampton is a 6’0” 188-pound athlete who plays both running back and strong safety in high school. In addition to the two Wildcats programs, he reportedly also has offers from UT Martin, Monmouth, East Tennessee State, JMU, Furman, and Tennessee Tech.
Hampton also plays baseball in High School, but it seems likely that he’s heading to college on a football scholarship.
He has good size for the safety position at Villanova and seems to have a tendency for good hard hits, and finding his way toward wherever the play is happening.
M.J. could be transferring schools -- his dad (a Philadelphia-native) was hired as head coach for Brook Pointe’s local rival, Stafford. His father played safety and outside linebacker for Mercyhurst University, which may be where Hampton seems to get his instincts from.
