The Villanova Wildcats staff has extended an offer to local safety Jaquan Amos, he announced on Twitter. Amos attends Northeast High School (Pa.) and also holds offers from Army, New Hampshire, Maine, Stony Brook, Albany and several other FCS schools.

Amos stands 5'11" and weighs in at 175 pounds and has primarily played safety for his high school team. He shows a good ability to read the quarterback's eyes in pass coverage and make a play on the ball. He's got good ball skills, recording several interceptions in his reel and forcing fumbles in run support as well.
Amos is being chased by most of the CAA, with most of those schools jumping in with an offer in recent days. Here's hoping the 'Cats can keep him local.
