Quickley 6'3" 175 lb. 5-star prospect currently ranked #14 in the 247 Composite. He attends John Caroll (Md.) and plays his AAU ball for Baltimore Elite (UAA). He's been on Villanova's radar for a while having taken an unofficial visit to the Main Line last summer. 'Nova also put in a call to Quickley on Wednesday, the first day coaches were allowed to call/text recruits.
Quickley is coming off an impressive performance at the USA Basketball U17 trials, where he flourished in the pick-and-roll and was named to the team that will travel abroad this summer. He's already drawing comparisons to John Wall as a table-setter, and he's picked up offers from Arizona, UCLA, Maryland and Texas A&M since the trials ended.
This one won't be easy, but it's clear that with offers to Quickley, Jahvon Quinerly and Elijah Weaver in 2018 that point guard is a top priority.
