Villanova nominated for 4 ESPY Awards

The 2016 ESPY nominees were announced on Wednesday and the 2016 National Champion Villanova Wildcats are represented in four categories.

Nova's Title Game against the North Carolina Tar Heels is up for the year's Best Game against the NFL Divisional game between the Arizona Cardinals and Green Bay Packers and this week's NBA Finals Game 7 between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Kris Jenkins' buzzer beating shot in the Championship is seeded as #2 in the Best Play category (Aaron Rodgers' Hail Mary is the #1 seed).

Best Coach/Manager sees Jay Wright lined up against Ned Yost (Kansas City Royals), Geno Auriemma (UConn Huskies), Nick Saban (Alabama Crimson Tide), and Tyronn Lue (Cavaliers).

Finally, the Wildcats are also up for Best Team against the Cavs, Pittsburgh Penguins, Royals, Denver Broncos, Crimson Tide, and UConn Huskies.
