The commitment comes just two days after Villanova extended a scholarship offer to Rhyne. He’s a 6’2” 230 lb. linebacker rated 2-stars by 247. He recorded 151 tackles, 33 TFL and 3.5 sacks. He’s a downhill tackling machine, very much in the mold of recently graduated All-American Don Cherry.
Rhyne is the fourth verbal commitment in Villanova’s 2017 class (and second this week!), joining QB Kyle McCloskey, RB Chris Chukwuneke and WR Julian Liaci.
