Westtown School (Pa.) 4-star guard Brandon Randolph will take an unofficial visit to Villanova this weekend, per his AAU team the PSA Cardinals.

The 6'6" Yonkers (N.Y.) native has been one of the biggest risers so far this spring. Both ESPN and Scout have him as a Top 50 prospect in their most recent rankings updates. Randolph is an explosive athlete and is one of the best shooters in the class. He's still improving defensively, but he's got the build to be a plus defender in the future. In summary, there's a lot to like about his potential to star at Villanova.

Some of you will remember clamoring for Randolph to get an offer after an impressive high school season playing alongside Mohamed Bamba and Cameron Reddish at Westtown, and Wright finally offered in late April. His recruitment has blown up since then, however. North Carolina, Kansas, Louisville and Arizona are just some of the bigger names to extend an offer in the past couple of months.

Getting an early visit from Randolph is a good sign, and hopefully the staff can impress him this weekend.
