It's a little late to be identifying new targets in the class of 2017 - and the 'Cats have plenty of open offers - but Villanova is now calling on St. Andrew's School (Fla.) guard Anthony Polite.
Villanova is the latest to reach out to the 2017 @Florida_Vipers guard Anthony Polite, he tells @Phenom_Hoops.

Polite is a 6'6" combo guard that plays for the Florida Vipers (UAA). The lefty is rated as a 3-star prospect and ranked #203 in the 247 Composite rankings. Polite has good size and ball-handling capability, and he can score on his jumpshot or driving to the hoop. If 247 is accurate, at 19 years old he's also very old for his grade. He's physically further along and could be ready to contribute early in his career.
The Swiss-born Polite is a Florida State legacy, so no surprise that both of his Crystal Ball picks are for the Seminoles. He's been heavily recruited by the Florida schools. Also complicating this potential recruitment is the fact that Polite seems close to cutting his list down to five schools. If Villanova is serious, they may need to jump in the mix with an offer soon.
