Eli Brooks calls Villanova his dream school

Might we have another diamond in the rough?

Happy Thursday, 'Nova Nation! On we roll in the July Live Period. Jay Wright spent yesterday at the Under Armour All-American Camp. There he got a look at Trevon Duval, Elijah Weaver, Jahvon Quinerly, Scottie Lewis and several others. Expect him to head over to the Peach Jam this weekend.

Interesting article to lead things off (H/T to sayheycord) on Spring Grove (Pa.) guard Eli Brooks. He's smitten on Villanova, but has been most recruited by mid-majors to date. Check out the scouting report on City of Basketball Love though - he's a guy that might be a good option a point guard if you want the insurance in this class. A draft and stash of sorts, he could be the type of prospect that bleeds blue and white and is content to develop in the program.

And now, the "news."
