Villanova Wildcats head coach Jay Wright has extended an offer to 5-star point guard Collin Sexton, per ESPN's Paul Biancardi.

Sexton has been one of the most lauded prospects this spring and summer, and in addition to leading the Nike EYBL in scoring during the regular season, just claimed MVP honors at the recently completed FIBA U-17 Tournament where the United States won gold.
A 6'2" guard from Mableton, Ga., Sexton looks like a perfect fit for Villanova. He has a great handle and can score from all three levels, and is excellent in ball-screen action. He's elite at getting to the free throw line, as he led that category in the EYBL by an insane margin.
With Quade Green looking unrealistic and Trevon Duval content to wait out his recruitment until next spring, trying to get a foothold in Sexton's recruitment makes sense. Maybe they're getting in the game too late, but if Wright can get him on campus things could get interesting.
Alabama has a comfortable lead in his Crystal Ball.
