2018 guard Brandon Slater taking unofficial visit to Villanova

Not the best timing with the staff and team in Spain for a summer exhibition tour, but it's good to get Slater a look at the campus this early in his recruitment if the Wildcats plan on being major players for the 4-star prospect who attends powerhouse Paul VI (Va.).

Slater has already emerged as one of the best prospects in the region with Maryland, Louisville, Virginia, Miami (Fla.) and West Virginia all extending offers. While his game needs polishing, he's a smooth athlete who possesses all the physical tools to develop into a star at the next level.
