Fertitta family donates $10 million to UNLV for football facility
UNLV coach Tony Sanchez was the head coach at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, where Lorenzo Fertitta’s two sons, Lorenzo Jr. and Nicco, played. Lorenzo Fertitta Jr. accepted a scholarship to Villanova, though he is not playing this year. Nicco Fertitta is a sophomore defensive back at Notre Dame.

According to Franklin, because of the loud environment at Heinz Field, the offense had to use a clap-cadence for its snap count — but Pitt began clapping on the other side of the ball to confuse the count. There are videos showing Pitt clapping against Villanova as well.
