Villanova hosts Towson tonight in the CAA opener for both schools. This has been a budding rivalry in recent seasons, with several closely contested games as both schools have jockeyed for position atop the CAA.

Like ‘Nova the Tigers are 1-1 on the season, dropping their FBS matchup against South Florida before winning a shootout against St. Francis (Pa.) 35-28 last weekend. They won last season’s matchup 28-21 courtesy of not one but two Bednarczyk pick-sixes.
