Villanova is showing their desire to maintain their ties to old BIG EAST schools. According to a report by Jon Rothstein, the Wildcats will start a home & home with UConn starting next season.
The Huskies would host the first game of the series in the 2017-18 season, with the return game at ‘Nova in 2018-19.
In the last matchup between the two, eventual national champion UConn defeated Villanova in the second round of the 2014 NCAA Tournament. Villanova leads the all-time series, 33-31.
