Jay Wright and his squad were looking to avenge last season’s sole home loss when the Villanova Wildcats hosted Providence on Saturday at the Wells Fargo Center.
Although the Friars did a commendable of trying to hang with ‘Nova, the home team was prepared and handled business with a ten-point victory.
Also prepared was Jay Wright’s fashion game. With the game on a national broadcast on the main FOX channel, Wright knew many eyes would be on him. The head coach took to the sidelines of the Wildcats’ South Philly Lair in a plain, light-gray two-piece suit. Underneath, he wore a striped shirt with alternating gray and purple verticals matched with a pale lavender tie. He finished the look off with a light gray pocket square with purple stripes.

4/5 Esquires: Jay expertly matches the gray and purples in this look. Perfect for a matinee game, but is it too light of a look for January?
