Villanova coach looks sharp in Indianapolis

NCAA Basketball: Villanova at Butler Thomas J. Russo-USA TODAY Sports

The nation’s top-ranked Villanova Wildcats were coming off a fantastic win in Nebraska over a previously highly ranked team in a loud, imposing venue, went they traveled to Indy to take on another highly ranked team in a loud, imposing venue.

Ultimately, Jay Wright’s squad would see their 20-game win streak and undefeated season halt on Wednesday as the ‘Cats lost to #18 Butler, 58-66, but the coach’s style on the sidelines was a very positive take away.

The battle at Hinkle saw Wright go with three pieces for the second consecutive game; this time in sharp navy. Underneath he donned a pale blue shirt and a striped tie in nearly the same color with stripes of navy and white. A light blue pocket square finished off the look.

4.5/5 Esquires: “GQ Jay” is back! This look by Wright pays honor to the historical nature of Hinkle Fieldhouse with a complete modern update. Wright was also, probably, the best dressed person in the state of Indiana on Wednesday.
