The nation’s top-ranked Villanova Wildcats were coming off a fantastic win in Nebraska over a previously highly ranked team in a loud, imposing venue, went they traveled to Indy to take on another highly ranked team in a loud, imposing venue.
Ultimately, Jay Wright’s squad would see their 20-game win streak and undefeated season halt on Wednesday as the ‘Cats lost to #18 Butler, 58-66, but the coach’s style on the sidelines was a very positive take away.
