Jay Wright Suit Watch: Marquette

Wright looks good in South Philly

The Villanova Wildcats were looking to rebound from their first loss of the season and get back to their winning ways and poor Marquette would take the brunt of that desire.

The squad was down to business and at task to not record back-to-back losses for the first time since the 2012-13 season. Through their effort, the Wildcats dismantled the Golden Eagles in a game that wasn’t as close as the 93-81 scoreline would indicate.

Jay Wright’s style was also down to business.

Nova’s head coach commanded the sidelines of the Wells Fargo Center on Saturday night in a two-piece navy suit with noticeable pinstripes. Underneath he sported a white shirt with blue stripes and a blue-based geometric tie. He finished off the look with a white pocketsquare and an adequately-placed tiebar.

It was a look very similar to the Wildcats’ trip to Milwaukee to face Marquette last February.
