Ramey is a 6’3” lead guard that attends Webster Groves in St. Louis. He played on the adidas circuit for Ramey Jets United and was formerly committed to the Louisville Cardinals before the fallout from the recruiting scandal.
Whether Villanova can gain a foothold in this recruitment remains to be seen, but Ramey would be a spectacular addition. He an extremely quick guard with an elite offensive skillset that allows him to knock down shots from everywhere and get to the rim at will.
There’s been a lot of buzz around Ramey and Missouri since his AAU teammate Torrence Watson is already pledged to the Tigers. This development is something to keep an eye on though. If Villanova can get a visit, they’re in it.
