Villanova Athletics is set to release a loyalty program

The times, they are a changin’

Happy Tuesday, ‘Nova Nation! If you subscribe to Google Alerts like I do, you may have seen something interesting yesterday. The Villanova Athletics department is primed to release their version of a loyalty program.

Problem is, the actual content on the page was removed just a couple of hours after posting as far as I can tell.

But per a friend at the school this is essentially a loyalty program that will reward those of you who have donated in the past and continue to do so moving forward. And this will impact your ability to get season tickets and priority seating down the line.

If you have been a season ticket holder and/or have donated in the past, you have a good head start and will get the requisite credit. If you haven’t and you care about season tickets and your seating assignments, it looks to be time to break out that checkbook or cut bait.

Complete details should be forthcoming soon, but this has been rumored for a long time. It should come as no surprise.

And now, the “news.”
