Former Louisville commit and Class of 2018 top-50 prospect Courtney Ramey picked up an offer from Villanova on Thursday afternoon.
Jay Wright and his staff headed to the midwest, specifically St. Louis, Mo. to meet up with Ramey.
Villanova has offered top-50 guard Courtney Ramey; head coach Jay Wright is now completing an in-home visit with Tyler Herro

Ramey, a 6-foot-3 point guard, has the skill set that would make him an ideal fit for the Wildcats. He is a solid playmaker that possesses great court vision. He can also knockdown catch-and-shoot threes. Ramey is also a quick, agile guard that can contribute defensively.
At only 170 pounds, he may need to bulk up a bit for the collegiate level.
Ramey de-committed from Louisville amidst the ongoing FBI investigations and firing of Rick Pitino. Aside from Villanova, Missouri, Ohio State, Marquette, and Purdue are said to be in pursuit of Ramey.
Villanova is also in the mid-west to visit another recent de-commit, Tyler Herro, who backed down from Wisconsin. Jahvon Quinerly’s recruitment is still up in the air, and what this all means is still not completely defined, but things should become clearer over the coming weeks.
