Huuuuuuuuump Daaaaaaay! And it’s a good one at that, with your Villanova Wildcats scheduled to play their in their first viewable action of the season against the Drexel Dragons.
What will you be watching for? While I’m interested to see how this offense looks with (at least to the naked eye) less shooters and more length/size, I’m really just amped to see Omari Spellman and Phil Booth in action. I’ve waited long enough.

Villanova expected to romp again as Big East favorite | WTOP
“I’m interested to see if the growth of our program would get more fans to come out,” Wright said. “What we’ve learned is, when we play a weekend game, the opponent really doesn’t matter. We’re getting 18 to 20 (thousand). I hope we can do a good job of marketing it and get people out there. It makes a difference. When you’ve got over 15,000, it’s great. You get under, it’s not so great.”
