Fresh off a trip to watch Villanova blow out Nicholls State on Tuesday night, 2019 forward Eric Dixon has landed an offer from the Villanova Wildcats.

Dixon is a 6’6” 250 lb. forward who attends Abington (Pa.) and plays for WE-R-1 (Under Armour) on the summer circuit. He’s already in the USA Basketball pool as well.
Dixon is ranked #80 in the 247 Composite and holds offers from Georgetown, Virginia, Miami (Fla.), Seton Hall, Oklahoma State and Temple among others.
Dixon’s an interesting prospect - he’s a polished low-post scorer and can step out and knock down jump shots. But at just 6’6” there will obviously be questions as to his positional fit on any roster.
We’ve seen JayVaughn Pinkston and Kris Jenkins succeed in the ‘Nova system, so there is some precedent for success here. And Dixon is clearly one of the best players in the area in the 2019 class.
