Villanova Basketball Rules The Sea, Again

But that’s far from the story of the weekend!

Good morning Nova Nation! Chris is still in a tryptophan induced haze, so I’ll be stepping in today. Villanova is champions of November once again, now making it 32 straight victories in the season’s opening month over the last five seasons. One more victory over Penn on Wednesday, and it’ll be five straight undefeated Novembers in a row.

But the most impressive thing from this Holiday weekend wasn’t even a win. It was a loss by #25 Alabama to #14 Minnesota. Saying I’ve never seen anything like this game is a gross understatement. Not only did Alabama have to play with just 3 players in the last 10 minutes of the game (their entire bench was ejected on a single play), but they actually staged a comeback during that time and had the game within three points with just over a minute left. WHAT!?!? If you can find a replay, it’s worth a watch.

Oh, and one more thing. Don’t play your former Big East team just 5 months after you leave them. There may be some extra motivation there. And now, the “news”:
