Villanova Women’s Basketball is up to #22 in the newest AP Poll. After a narrow 62-59 victory over Princeton on Wednesday, they completed the sweep of the Holy War against Saint Joseph’s with a 79-44 rout.

Sophomore Kelly Jekot scored a career high 27 points in the win against the Hawks on Sunday and is leading the team with 13.9 points per game. Junior Adrianna Hahn is averaging 12.3 points per game but was held scoreless on Sunday, and is looking to make a comeback for their next game on Wednesday.

The top 25 saw 24 of the same teams from last week with the addition of Green Bay at #23. The movement was relatively small this week, with the biggest change being Ohio State dropping 4 spots to #12 after their lost to Duke on Thursday. Villanova remains the sole Big East team in the top 25.

Villanova plays their next 5 games on their road, starting with Fairfield on Wednesday at 7:00 PM. They travel into the city to take on the 6-2 Temple Owls on Sunday at 2:00 PM.
