Glastonbury (Conn.) defensive lineman Jared Nelson has signed his Letter of Intent to play football at Villanova, the school announced this morning. Here’s the video!

A 6’3" 250 lb. prospect, Nelson primarily played at defensive tackle at the high school level - as he adds more weight to his frame he could play there in college or potentially on the outside as well. He was a 1st Team All-State selection and was named All-Conference three times dating back to his sophomore season.
Nelson is a solid prospect, but Villanova is returning a lot of older talent in front of him. This should give him time to develop his body to handle the rigors of the defensive line.
