Villanova Basketball Recruiting: Wildcats scouting 2018 guards David Duke & A.J. Reeves

A small bit of recruiting news, as the Villanova Wildcats are sending an assistant Northbound today to watch Cushing Academy (Mass.) combo guard David Duke, while Jay Wright is off to see Brimmer & May (Mass.) guard A.J. Reeves. Their AAU team Mass Rivals reported the visits.

Reeves is the higher ranked player currently (Reeves also visited Villanova last summer), but it has been Duke that has been getting a lot of praise in the past few weeks (Kansas is also scouting him today and Syracuse is jumping into the mix as well) for his improved play.

Neither player currently holds an offer from ‘Nova, but that could change after the Wildcats coaches get a look. Here’s the most recent mixtapes available on both prospects below.
