TGIF, 'Nova Nation! Not the most fun of opening games last night until the second half, but the boys got the job done against a team that was clearly up for it while Villanova tried to coast through at the start. Playing down to the competition has been a bigger issue this year than last season, so hopefully this is a wake up call to the team because their won't be anymore bad teams from here on out.

Maybe a mentality shift is needed? Maybe they need to lean into the disrespect angle again. Who knows. But last night's lax attitude isn't going to fly on Saturday.

As I write this, we're only at halftime of the Wisconsin-VaTech game, so I'm not quite sure who we'll be seeing on Saturday. I'm not sure I even care. I just want another 'Nova W.

And now, the "news."
