Villanova’s Josh Hart has another accolade to his name: 2017 BIG EAST Player of the Year.
The pre-season Player of the Year, led the conference in scoring with 18.6 points per game (18.2 in conference games) and added 6.5 rebounds. Those marks made him the only player to be in the Top 10 in both categories.
Hart joins Ryan Arcidiacono (2015), Randy Foye (2006), and Kerry Kittles (1995) as winners of the conference’s esteemed award.
He has more than lived up to the hype from November to now. Congrats to @NovaMBB's Josh Hart, the #BIGEASThoops Player of the Year. pic.twitter.com/cF0apz4NrB
